Many heavy off-highway Vehicles are used for agriculture, however, while better control systems will push the efficiency of these vehicles forward. A major aspect of agriculture right now is farm automation, also known as “Smart Farming”, this technology increases the efficiency of crop and livestock production as well as automates the entire process. With the advancement of the field the industry has increasingly been working on agriculture robotic innovations, developing many machines like autonomous tractors, automatic watering, planting, and sowing robots. These technologies are new however, many companies have opted into adopting farm automation.
